Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation center that is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab takes part in a variety of treatment activities and techniques during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
