Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which is meant to handle drug addiction disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a number of treatment services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
