Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment participates in a variety of rehab services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
