Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time.
