Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab partakes in a variety of rehabilitation activities and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Des Lacs who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or for those who are unable to be apart from their families for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in standard counseling and therapy for alcohol or drug addiction problems while at the same time dealing with mental health problems which may deter them from remaining sober after rehab is done.
