Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab facility which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment partakes in various rehab services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
