Programs which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are readily available to certain people in Cornell who are fighting co-occurring substance abuse and mental health problems. These types of facilities may be beneficial to specific treatment clients in Cornell that might not be able to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are unable to take advantage of an inpatient program due to familial responsibilities. Partial hospitalization centers help the individual in the daytime through counseling and other treatment strategies, and the individual returns home in the PM. Rehabilitation is conducted nearly each day of the week on an intensive plan which seeks to fully rehabilitate the client both body and mind.
