Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program which works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab participates in a number of rehab services and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted people in Conneaut who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are not able to be apart from their families for extended periods of time. While in Day Treatment, people take part in standard counseling and therapy for drug and alcohol addiction issues while at the same time addressing psychological problems which could keep them from staying sober after rehabilitation is complete.
