Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program that works to deal with drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Clover who who may be unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are not able to be away from their home for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in typical counseling and therapy for alcohol or drug addiction problems while at the same time addressing psychological problems which could keep them from staying abstinent after rehabilitation is done.
