Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment program that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab participates in a variety of rehabilitation services and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug addicted men and women in Cleveland who are unable to afford long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are unable to be apart from their home for extensive periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in standard counseling and therapy for drug and alcohol addiction issues while simultaneously addressing mental health problems which could keep them from remaining sober once treatment is done.
