Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation program that works to treat drug addiction problems and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab partakes in a variety of treatment activities and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Califon who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be apart from their families for extended periods of time.
