Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program which is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of rehabilitation services and techniques during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
