Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program that is meant to handle substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and methods in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
