Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab center that works to treat substance abuse problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment participates in various treatment activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
