Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation facility which is meant to deal with drug addiction issues and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of treatment activities and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
