Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to treat drug addiction issues and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment takes part in various rehab services and methods during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted men and women in Hopkins who are unable to afford long-term inpatient rehab, or who are unable to be apart from their households for prolonged lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in traditional treatment services for addiction issues while also addressing psychological issues which could keep them from remaining sober when rehab is complete.
